Chrysler Pacifica 2022 is considered the best family hauler on the market. Although the competition is catching up. The Chrysler Pacifica minivan does seat seven or eight passengers. It is an incredibly well-rounded minivan. It offers great space utilization inside. The minivan has good road manners. Plus few compromises. It’s a 7.2 out of 10, and a longtime TCC Best Minivan to Buy winner.

Chrysler Styling and Big Tech Upgrades

The Pacifica adds modest equipment for 2022 and reworking last year featuring bulkier styling and big tech upgrades. There is a new air-filtration system that does promise cleaner cabin air. Plus, a standard rear-seat reminder provides some assurances. The Pacifica can be equipped with Amazon Fire TV with games, videos, apps, and Alexa.

This year, the standard gear includes heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Higher trims come better equipped, too, with a surround-view camera system on the Touring L, and Harmon Kardon sounds on the Limited.

 Front, All-Wheel-Drive Models

Three versions are available: front- and all-wheel-drive models with V-6 power, as well as a plug-in hybrid with front-wheel drive only. All look the same, with traditional two-box styling, that looks a little more SUV-like thanks to last year’s styling update.

Fleet Sales for 2022

Moreover, the Chrysler Voyager is based on the prior Pacifica has been relegating to fleet sales for 2022.

In fact, the 3.6-liter V-6 is standard fare in all versions. It does send power to the wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the hybrids add a lithium-ion battery pack good for about 30 miles of electric-only range. Thus it offers better fuel economy across the line.

Moreover, there are few if any new vehicles that are as comfortable inside as the Pacifica. Now, even row three is properly spacious and thus supportive. They tumble into the floor to create a flat surface ready to handle just about any construction project. Hybrids and the range-topping Pinnacle do lack fold-flat middle-row seats.

There is a wide variety of crash-avoidance tech which is standard. The nice features such as a surround-view camera and the ability to park itself are, in fact, optional. The Pacifica does earn the top marks from the IIHS and the NHTSA in crash testing.
