Toyota debuted the 2023 Prius at the auto show in the past month with an updated price to assign to the hybrid. Of course, it’s not very surprising as Toyota did up the price of the Prius hatchback by $2,375 for for the 2023 model year, specifically via elimination of the past L Eco base model.

It’s a high likelihood that the Prius is going to acquire special-edition models like the Nightshade in the future. In the meantime, the hybrid is offered in LE, XLE and Limited trims. Any three of those will be accessible as a front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configuration. Though, the former amounts to an additional $1,400 to the total price.

When observing the base model as the LE trim, you’re looking at a starting price of $28,545. All while the value leader can offer up higher fuel-economy estimates with 57 miles per gallon, combined. The XLE and Limited models happen to be useful for a combination of 52 miles per gallon. The LE is standard with all sorts of features like the 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, 17-inch wheels and blind-spot monitoring features. Additionally, there’s high beam headlamps, adaptive cruise control with lane centering and even front and rear parking sensors.

Within the smack-dab of the Prius lineup, one thing you may notice is how the XLE can even be bigger and badder with the $31,990 and even wider wheels with 19-inch measurements. Additionally, the XLE comes with a power-adjustable drivers’ seat, wireless smartphone charging pad and even rain-sensitive windshield wipers. Plus, the XLE will be ordered with a huge 12.3 inch infotainment touchscreen for about $610. Plus there’s a fixed-glass roof for around $1,000.

But the car that comes with all the fixings includes the Limited that is started off at $35,560 with plenty of new expenses with the larger touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats, a power liftgate and even a JBL audio system. Add another $1,085 that you can bring in a 360-degree camera system and even a self-parking feature. The rearview mirror is available for $200 and we have the heated rear seats that cost about $350. There’s still no real specification on the plug-in-hybrid Prius Prime’s cost but it’s likely to appear in Toyota dealerships in the near future. The companies state deliveries have been expecting to begin early in the winter of 2023.
