When you drive a car with such whiplash as the Maserati GranTurismo, you kind of forget you’re on Earth. It almost feels like flying in a spaceship from how smooth the peel of the wheels is. Maserati has a 2+2 that may feature their first 100% electric powertrain. The vehicle has been spotted leaving the “innovation lab” that Maserati proudly hides. It’s where the company had a lot of hope for batteries powering their vehicle.
The GranTurismo from the previous generation had been powered by gasoline sources. Like the Ferrari-sourcing 4.7-liter V-8 with 454 horsepower as well as 384 lb-ft torque-wise. Chances are that the Maserati people are really pushing for anything that can eclipse the MC20 model. And wouldn’t that be spectacular?
The GranTurismo vehicle has a package of reinvention. Needless to say, it may be the best vehicle Maserati has created thus far. Even the unit that drove outside of the garage is in camouflage from head to toe. As if it was not trying to flaunt too much of what Maserati shows anyhow. To be totally fair, it’s not your fault if you can’t find yourself a supercool supercar. The vehicle itself is a totally worthy sight of beauty.
What’s fascinating about the GranTurismo is that it has a long hood, a short deck and a 2+2 layout to adore. There are also helluva bunch of super details like a modern cabin that inspires from the MC20. It kind of reminds you to think individually, for yourself.
